There aren't many CO detectors out there that cover the wide temperature extremes that will be experienced by something mounted in an RV rather than a home, and will operate on batteries. This one covers those requirements.
I like the small form factor and that, reportedly, it will tell you when it needs to be replaced in 5 years. I am replacing one in my 12 year old RV, not knowing how old it is other than older than the 5 years I have owned it.
One word of advice, the batteries are tough to insert. They feel like they are inserted completely but the battery door won't close. You have to push them in hard and you will hear a noticeable click when they are all the way in. Only then can you get the battery door closed.
