Alarm is being used in an RV and appears to work very well. I removed the transformer and wired it direct to a 12 volt battery through a on/off switch. It is mounted approximately one foot above the floor.
This is functional and reasonably priced. I tested it by leaving the LP stove on for a short while. Works with an ear-piercing beep.
